Trends, Quality, and the Permission to Just Be You

Something has been on our mind lately.
In beauty, and perhaps in life too, there is often an unspoken pressure to pick a side. Are you the person who follows trends, or the one who does not care for them? Are you drawn to what is popular, or to what simply works for you?
As though the answer has to be one or the other. As though choosing differently says something about who you are.
It does not.
Some people find genuine joy in being part of what everyone is loving. In wearing the colour of the season. In discovering the product everyone is talking about. In feeling connected to a moment.
There is nothing wrong with that.
Beauty can be fun. It can be communal. It can give us something to share, and if being part of that makes you feel confident and happy, enjoy it fully.
Others will always choose differently.
They will reach for the product nobody is talking about because it works for them. They will wear the shade they love long after everyone else has moved on. Their confidence comes from knowing themselves well enough to trust what they like.
There is something beautiful about that too.
And many of us want both.
We like what we like. Sometimes it happens to be trending. Sometimes it does not.
There is no rule that says one has to become the other.

We did not only ask how beautiful our glosses could look. We asked what they could genuinely offer the person wearing them.
That is why we chose ingredients including Double Hyaluronic Acid, Jojoba Oil, Tocopherol and Sunflower Oil. Ingredients selected with intention, because RareAura was never meant to be beautiful only on the surface.
Take our Harmony Gloss in Peachy Coral as an example. It is a shade that happens to be warm and wearable enough to feel current, but it was formulated first and foremost to hydrate, plump and nourish. The trend, if it is one, is incidental. The care behind it is not.
